100 million downloads for PUBG on smartphones

100 million downloads for PUBG on smartphones
Success is at the rendezvous for one of the Battle Royale of the moment.
PUBG knows a nice success on our mobiles. It must be said that the Battle Royale was quickly available on iOS and Android unlike its competitor Fortnite, which only recently introduced the version of Google's operating system - and exclusively at Samsung. Not to mention that a Lite version is available for emerging markets, still on the OS of the firm Mountain View. But since today, PUBG can congratulate itself: its smartphone version developed by Tencent has just reached 100 million downloads!

Tencent and PUBG, a real success on smartphones
As a reminder, it is the Chinese firm Tencent who took care of the portage of PUBG on our mobiles, where Epic Games dealt alone with that of his hit Fortnite. With 100 million downloads, the Battle Royale shows that it is not erased by its big competitor who garners all the media attention. PUBG players can especially prefer his realistic approach and gameplay that goes without construction. Because even if the principle of the Battle Royale is the same, 100 players who clash to the last on a map that is reduced, the mechanics remain different.

Impossible to not imagine the huge numbers raised by PUBG with these 100 million downloads - and therefore many players. And for good reason: even if the application is free download, integrated purchases can generate significant revenue. Purchases that actually do not allow players to be stronger: everything remains cosmetic. Suffice to say that PUBG and Fortnite have found the formula that works - a free game, physical additions that do not influence the level of an opponent to avoid unjust imbalance!
